Our Process

1. On the shop page, select a design theme and upload an image with a short description of any features or styles you'd like to see in the artwork. Up to 140 characters are allowed. You can upload up to 2 additional images to be used as references. If you don't provide a lot of detail, that's okay! Our artist will be creative! Don't worry, you'll have an opportunity to provide advice before the artwork and print are finalized.

2. Proceed to checkout and complete your purchase. You'll receive a confirmation email with your order number.

3. Within 48 hours, we'll send you an email with 3 drafts. The drafts are watermarked and not full resolution. The email will include your order number in the subject line, and will come from a personalizedpetprints.com email address.

4. You select 1 of the 3 drafts by responding via email, along with any advice on how to refine the artwork.

5. We revise and refine the art and send you a semi-final version within 2 business days.

6. You confirm the artwork.

7. We prepare the final image, print, and ship it! You'll receive another email when this is completed.

FAQ

Q1. What's the total turnaround time after purchase?

A1. This depends on your response times, but the design process is usually completed in 5 business days. Your print will be submitted for printing in one business day after you confirm the artwork and shipped shortly thereafter. If you confirm the artwork immediately, the entire process can be ask quick as 48 hours. Please see the process above for more information.

Q2. How specific can I be in the description?

A2. We encourage you to be as specific as you'd like within in the 140 character limit. Our artist will work best with you to create as quality a piece of art as possible. You'll have a better idea of how the finished piece will look once receiving the drafts.

Q3. What tools do you use to create the art?

A3. We use traditional image-editors, AI tools: DALLĀ·E 2 and Stable Diffusion (license), and digital painting tools to design the art.

Q4. I ordered a digital print. How is that shipped?

A4. You'll receive a link to download the full resolution image via email.

Q5. I ordered a physical print. Do I get the digital version too?

A5. Yes! All physical prints come with the digital version. You'll receive a link to download the full resolution image via email.

Q6. I have a unique pet (Hamster, turtle, lizard), not a cat or dog. Is that okay?

A6. Yes! we'll do our best regardless of which kind of pet you have!

Q7. Can you paint multiple cats in the same print?

A7. Yes, we'll do a maximum of 3 pets per print. Keep in mind that a single pet leaves more room for detail. For special cases, feel free to contactus.
